It’s no secret that the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card is one of the best out there for points and miles enthusiasts of all kinds. With a low annual fee of $95, this card really packs a punch when it comes to card benefits and card protections. Whether you are just starting out or have been utilizing points and miles for some time, this card is one of my VERY favorites and one that I recommend for almost anyone!

So what makes it so special? Chase has 14 transfer partners and 2 of my favorites are Hyatt and Southwest. This is the only bank that has these 2 transfer partners, so Chase Ultimate Reward points are SUPER valuable. This is how we were able to book multiple nights in Hawaii at luxury hotels. In order to be able to transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards you need one of the following cards: Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card, Chase Sapphire Reserve® or the Ink Business Preferred® Credit Card. These 3 cards give you the ability to combine all of your Chase Ultimate Reward points from any of your Chase cards that earn Chase Ultimate Rewards and then you can transfer these points to Hyatt for more budget friendly or luxury hotel stays.

One of my favorite Hyatt stays was at the Grand Hyatt Kauai, Hawaii. We used 33,000 Hyatt points per night/per room to book a 3 night stay that had a value of over $7,500. Keep in mind this was for 2 rooms with club access for a family of 6, so if you just need one room it would cost you a lot less! I used Chase Ultimate Reward points from both mine and my husbands cards and combined them so we could make this dream booking.
